Top Ten: Pleasant Pranks for April Fools
Today is April Fools Day! Just kidding...it's next week. So we came up with a list of our top ten friendly pranks to celebrate.
10. Sign Swap: Create confusion by switching signs such as push and pull, or replace a classroom sign with the name of a different room. People may still get it right, but they will at least wonder what is going on.
9. Basketcase: Ever heard of a May Basket? It's not typically an April Fool's joke, but that will make it even more surprising.
8. Get them with Glitter: This April Fools, give them a visit from the Glitter Fairy. Sprinkle it (lightly) on their keyboard, give them a glitter high five, write them a cute note with a secret glitter stash inside. They'll never forget your prank, because they'll never get rid of the glitter.
7. Cry over spilt milk: Take a glass surface and add a dollop of glue. When the glue dries, peel off your puddle and put it on some important papers or a cell phone. Set an empty glass nearby and watch their startled expressions.
6. Phone it in: Take a silly selfie with their phone and set it as their wallpaper. Change the language setting to Espanol. Call them from an unknown number and leave a celebrity voice message.
5. Foiled Again: Cover all of their stuff in aluminium foil. Their cellphone, their purse or lunch bag, their water bottle. Just don't stick in the microwave!
4. Put a Note on it: Stick a message to their back, but not just any message. Think of something funny or weird. You could ask for hugs or prompt people to cluck like chickens. Use your imagination...just don't write "kick me."
3. Furniture Fun: Rearrange the furniture in an office or classroom. You can turn everything upside down or swap out one workspace for another to throw people for a loop.
2. Counterclockwise: Change the time on the clocks in every room, so that each room has it's own time. It will feel like everyone has entered the Twilight Zone.
