My Abilities Speak Louder Than My Disability
VSA's own Equilibrium Theater Company and Buen Viaje Dance Dance Company are joining forces this year in the original production of The Ability Project, a series of monologues and dances that address being a part of the DD (developmentally disabled) community. All of the monologues are found text pieces, taken from interview transcripts, speeches, blog posts, articles and poems by people with disabilities. The goal of the show is to represent our community as people first.
