If you've visited VSA recently, you may have seen our current gallery exhibit. The show, entitled Inroads, features four VSA Apprentice Artists: Chris and Sammy attend the Day Arts Program, and Ischelle and Jessica attend Exploratory Arts. Ischelle creates 3D collage forms out of paper scraps. Sammy draws and paints original cartoon characters. Chris paints more traditional portraits, but with his own unique twist. Jessica experiments with color and splatter technique. Inroads is on display through December 31st, with a reception this coming Friday, November 3rd from 5 to 6:30pm in the VSA North 4th Gallery.
