Balloon Fiesta Time is Here~

Some people, like Matt and Grace, have never been to the Balloon Fiesta.

Many others have. When going, one must wake up very early. 4 am is best. Dressing warm is a must when going. When you finally get there, you are greeted with different shaped balloons.

The Special Shapes are,

Smoky the Bear,

An Alien,

Wells Fargo Stage coach,

bumble bee,

spider pig,

American flag,

ABQ flag,

KOAT 7 balloon,

Yoda,

Darth Vader,

3 little bears,

Lady in the shoe,

Noah's ark,

To name a few.

Steve Stucker, a News Broadcaster nd T.V. personality, will almost always be there with his puppies and his Balloon shaped hat.

A thought comes to mind. If VSA had a Hot air Balloon in the Balloon Fiesta, what would it look like?

In the afternoon, there is the Balloon Glow. It is a beautiful site. The Balloon Fiesta remains one of the biggest attractions in New Mexico and is one of the largest gatherings of Balloons in the World. The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta starts October, 7th through the 15th.
