VSA's showcase was the first of the new year. It took place in the VSA theater on January 3rd and 4th at 1:30pm. VSA Apprentice Artists presented several examples of their work from fall semester, including but not limited to:

  • Choir performed three songs: Dream, Under Pressure, and Ring of Fire

  • Garage Band and Jazz Band presented original works.

  • Circus Arts delighted with a parade.

  • Advanced Dance awakened the audience's imagination with improvised, organic movement.

  • Acting Out performed a short and largely improvised scene.

  • Creative Writing presented a seated reading of an original play.

  • Acting Class offered their improv stylings.

One student described the show as fun and exciting. A staff member said, "It was awesome!" Another student, who participated in the event, said it felt good to perform. Even though some students were nervous, overall it was a great time!
